Full Owner/Membership
$135.00 one time fee
- $ 50.00 minimum payment with application; 18 months to pay off balance
Senior or Low-Income Owner/membership
$75.00 one time fee
- $30.00 minimum payment with application; 18 months to pay off balance
Senior or low-income are “self-defining” and require no proof of age or income.
Ownership funds are the “owner capital” of this business. They are used for purchases of equipment, may help fund initial staffing expenses and provide the basis on which lending institutions make decisions about if and/or how much to lend us should we need to borrow funds for future growth.
We are balancing three goals for Yelm Food Co-op:
1) Affordable membership
2) Funding the local co-op store
3) Expansion into a larger space
